Welcome to the Weekly Home Matters Linky Party #473
A great place to come, share your blog posts and make new friends.
We’re so glad you are here with us each week!
As I am posting this today, it is Good Friday… a time to reflect for some of us… and an opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Easter!
Many years ago I used to decorate for Easter…
And Sunday morning breakfast before church was all nicely laid out with some store bought Easter eggs:
We would boil and decorate eggs the week before.. and hunt for them Easter morning…
But then the kids got older and life got busy.. and we moved too often… and I haven’t decorated for years!!! I really can’t wait till I have grandkids…….!!!
Yesterday I decided to hunt up my Easter decorations and I am hoping to get a few up before Sunday….
Now on to this week’s party! I can’t wait to see you there.

MY FEATURE PICKS THIS WEEK!
If I still had little ones, or if I had grandies, I’d be printing out these cute coloring pages for them:
And I’d be baking these cute stained glass bunny cookies:
More baking would include these cupcakes with a surprise inside them:
However, I don’t have any little ones, so I guess that has saved me some baking and printing….! I’m still going to save the coloring pages and recipes for one day though – I do hope I’ll have grandies at some stage!!!
My last pick is for both kids and adults… Debbie’s house is a wonderland of Easter decorations:

I would print that colouring page and do it yourself – after all, colouring is good for the soul, and who better to treat than yourself?
I enjoyed your post. When mine were young, we let them hunt Easter eggs in our front yard. It was about an acre and they had lots of places to hunt! Today, we live in a neighborhood that sets up the Easter egg hunt for us.
Your post brought back so many memories. I was instantly transported to Mom’s coffee cups filled with vinegar and water with food dye dropped in. Then I did the same with our kids. Good times! My goodness what a nice array of recipes and projects – I am off to explore some links!
