How is your embroidery going? Mine is done – yay! Well, all excepts the berries and gold dots on the flowers – I’m going to use beads for them.
I am not going to add the beads until after I put the borders on because it is hard to trim a stitchery that already has beads on it – the ruler goes a bit wobbly!
And I haven’t turned it into a wall hanging yet, but I will try to do that over my two-day Christmas break… things have been pretty hectic here and I’ve been either working of having appointments every day.
However, I am going to do the same thing as I did with this little sweetie:
I was going to use that same blue fabric, but now I am thinking of picking something else.
Now for a special surprise for you, I am going to give you the pattern above for free until the end of December 2024! It is currently part of the paid membership, but this is my Christmas present for you this year!
Our Advent stitchery is the same size as the one in the pattern, so you can use the finishing instructions in it if you want to turn it into a wall hanging.
You can also use the embroidery for a cushion cover, placemat, table runner, etc.
