Last Week’s This and That
It was a really busy week last week… I took on some extra shifts and it was still soooo hot!!!
The weekend was lovely and cool though which was wonderful – I managed to get a lot done including moving my little sewing nook out of the kitchen and into the studio:
In the process of moving things around I made a big mess of course… that needs a bit more work to get all nice and tidy.
I did manage to clothe Freddie (my dress mannequin) with a new t-shirt that a dear friend gave me last month:
And… I now have my kitchen back:
Oh, and I managed to keep my kitchen table tidy ALL WEEK!! Amazing!!!
Block 2 of February’s Vintage Christmas QAL is done. I made a few mini design boards last week and laid out all the pieces on that first. Another easy one, no unpicking!
I got the Carousel Quilt on my couch:
I usually have my quilts hanging over the back… but then I decided to fold and move it down because the critters tend to sit there and put hair all over it… this way if visitors come I can just swap the quilt around and they don’t go home hairy, lol!
How did I go with last week’s list? Not too bad… some things didn’t get done, but I’m happy with what I did achieve:

Great t-shirt! Must say I envy you all that natural light in your studio. And good job keeping the table clear. How I wish that would happen here because ours is always a catchall for so much stuff.
Your spaces look really good. The sunny dining corner is so nice. Your sewing room looks very inviting. I would say your list was very well attacked. More got done than didn’t and that is always a win in my book.
