Spring Mystery Quilt Along Week 2

I’m a little late because I haven’t been 100% well… but here we are with week 2 of our Spring Mystery Quilt Along!
Today we are going to start with some of our remaining 2 1/2″ squares…
Step 1
Take twelve (12) 2 1/2″ squares and sew them into four rows of three:

Press them and set them aside!

Step 2
Take four (4) of the rows of four (4) 2 1/2″ squares we made last week, and sew them together:

Sew them into an 8 1/2″ square block, then press:

One block is done!

Step 3
If you didn’t draw a diagonal line on the twenty (20) 3″ background squares last week, do it this week:


I was hoping to start sewing these together this week, but it didn’t happen… and as this is a “stress-free” (for me!) QAL, we will be working with these next week!
