One of the last nights we were in Holland, we went to a Dutch Pancake House to celebrate my Aunt’s birthday.. .and it was also a nice goodbye meal for us to have together… We went to this same restaurant last time we were there, I blogged about it here. I think we were there…
I love op shops (thrift stores) back home, and while I had been to some in Holland, I’d never been to any in Germany… so I asked my uncle’s wife if she would take me to some! As you would expect, they were fairly similar to our op shops… lots and lots of household goods…..
When I go to other countries I love going to supermarkets.. I know, I’m strange! But I like to see what kind of things they sell there, and how different the food is to back home… So, being in Germany, a trip to Aldi was in order 🙂 After all, that is where Aldi comes…
